For the past
two years we have been sponsoring monthly jam sessions on the last Friday and Saturday of each month. Along with our local
pickers, there have been many pickers stop by and pick with us. Every one is invited to come by and join the fun. We offer
free dry camping to every one that picks music, no matter what your level of picking. There are also sites with full hook-ups
at discount prices for those interested. Our main purpose is to promote bluegrass music and help others learn while having
fun. There is always a lot of food and a lot of friendly people. If you plan to dine with us, just bring a covered dish.

April 29 & 30, 2011
This year, our first scheduled jam will be April 29 & 30. Again,
every one is invited to join us for the weekend. We hope to have our local people for the weekend and are inviting any one
who enjoys bluegrass music. If you have never been to a bluegrass jam, you are missing a special part of life. Bring a covered
dish, eat with us and join us for a weekend of fun. Dry camping is free, and sites with hookups will be discounted if available.

We have learned that our banjo picker has found out that he has cancer. I would ask that every person who
reads this will say special prayers for one of the finest pickers on the east coast, Danny Hiser. Danny is not only a great
picker, but, a very special friend. We will continue to have our monthly jams, with the thought in mind that Danny will
recover with your prayers. Thanks for the past jams you folks have made so much fun and hopefully you will continue to support
these jams in the future!!!!
Danny will be needing all the
help he can get to pay for his hospital expenses. Any one wishing to help out may donate here and all donations will be given
to him by me personally. Please help if you can!!
All donations can be
sent via Paypal to "steve@wvrvparks" or mailed to:

I
will personally see to it that Danny gets it.
People who stop at our park have a standard question they ask. " What is there around here
to do for fun. We have many attractions nearby to see. One place that I recommend that is fun for every one, young and old,
is "The Special Place Gem Mine". If you have time while here, check it out. Click on the link below for more information.
